This course covers foundational anatomy and Yin philosophy and postures and experimentation in the "Posture Lab" to discover creative ways to vary or modify postures for a safe, sustainable, and effective practice.

Yin Yoga is first and foremost the decision to experience your body as an integrated whole.  
Yin moves you slowly into postures to feel what limits you when you go to reach, twist, bend, or extend.  Through the Yin method you gradually recover lost ranges of motion and explore new territory in your body and mind.

Over two weekends at Yoke Yoga in Torquay join Jennifer Crescenzo to learn about this essential practice.

Conscious Conversations is a community event initiative with a per person donation to charity. The 2 hour event will run once a month, with a different theme each month. The theme for this month is 'Impermanence' We will engage small and large group conversation. There will be guided meditations and processes. We hope to inspire and connect people in community.

Jem Fuller works as a coach, facilitator and speaker and is the founding director of Leaders In Life, a Conscious Leader Development organisation. Jem is passionate about creating conversations to help raise the level of human consciousness.

Our South Melbourne studio is holding it's second Conscious Cinema evening on November 17th at 7.30pm

About the Documentary:-

Living on One Dollar is a film and journey that follows Yoke Yoga Community member, Rosie Waltons own experience living on $1 a day for two months in rural Guatemala. Throughout her trip, she battles intense hunger, parasites and the realisation that there are no easy answers. They find hope in the inspiring lives of Rosa, a 20-year-old woman, and Chino, a 12-year-old boy.

While in Guatemala, they released short YouTube videos about the experience to help friends at home learn alongside them in real time. The videos quickly received over 700,000 views, inspiring them to complete a feature-length film Living on One Dollar, to encourage others to help end extreme poverty.

To Rosie's amazement, the film has since won Best Documentary at the Sonoma International Film Festival and received endorsements from Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus, USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah, and the Director of the Hunger Games, Gary Ross.

All donations from this evening will go towards The Kindling Foundation - an orphanage in South Africa housing over 200 children founded in 2010 by a small Melbourne community.
