The work of Brené Brown returns to Yoke in August! In this two-day workshop, you will learn how to step into the arena, be braver in your life and find the courage to embrace wholehearted living filled with gratitude, joy and love.
This is a highly experiential workshop based on research by New York Times best-selling author Dr. Brené Brown. We'll acknowledge our thoughts, emotions and behaviours as we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. This workshop will offer insights and tools for resilience, to move beyond comparison and that feeling of 'not enough'.
The Daring Way™ Workshop will be infused with mindful practices of yoga, meditation and creativity throughout the weekend for an embodied approach to this powerful program of transformation. Joining Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator Kate McKillop, Senior Yoke Teacher Amy Burke will also offer yoga and meditation practices for an embodied approach to this transformational work. While not essential, it is recommended that participants stay locally for the weekend to immerse into the two-day program.
ABOUT KATE MCKILLOP
Kate McKillop, BCA MSW is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, Mental Health Clinician, Therapist and Yoga Teacher. She provides individual, group and family therapy in the areas of trauma, grief and loss and empowers people to overcome depression and anxiety. Kate has trained in developmental psychiatry and has extensive experience in teaching the benefits of mind-body connection.
