Whether you’re totally new to yoga or you've been practicing bakasana since you were a baby, we can always get back to the basics and recalibrate those bad habits we form over time. This fun, 2.5 hour workshop will break down key poses, explore breath and alignment as well as modifications for your body that will leave you feeling confident to continue to grow your flow in a regular class environment. We’ll have plenty of time for questions and to explore personal modifications. Come and meet new people, explore the practice of yoga all in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.
You’ll walk away with:
An understanding of ‘what is yoga’
A clearer understanding of sun salutations
An understanding of the key alignment points for regularly taught standing poses
The ability to modify the practice to suit your body
Key alignment points for poses
Confidence to step into a regular vinyasa class
This workshop is fantastic for those new to the practice, or those wishing to deepen their practice and knowledge of alignment and modifications for individual body types.
