Join Kristiarne Wilson for an afternoon of yoga and creative play to connect with the subconscious, unlock creativity and self-expression and explore how we can use these as tools for healing.
In time, with dedication and practice yoga may allow us to penetrate beneath the surface of our rational mind to the source of our creativity and insight...
In this workshop we'll use meditation and asana practice to begin that journey within before we crack out the crayons and textas and get a little messy exploring art improvisation and free form movement to continue deeper.
Find out what within you desires to be discovered and learn the tools to unlock it.
Kristiarne's yoga journey has been deeply healing for her.
It has given her the tools to deal with anxiety and depression and deepened her self-awareness and self-acceptance.
Kristiarne has a background in contemporary and classical dance. She also has a fine arts degree and is an exhibited artist.
Influenced by her personal passions and experiences, Kristiarne drew on mindfulness meditation, movement and improvised drawing as a healing tool to discover un-healthy mental habits, break through long held fears and tap into her subconscious mind – using them as an avenue for self – expression and therefore deeper self discovery.
