Tina first discovered yoga in her 20s and for many years flirted on and off with her asana practice. It was only a few years back that she found herself at Union Yoga (now Yoke South Melbourne!) where she developed a strong, consistent practice practice. It was here that she realized her desire to share her love of yoga and way that it has transformed her life that drove her to do her Teacher Training in 2014.
Since completed her 200hr Teacher Training with Power Living in 2014, she has continued to expand her knowledge through training with some of her most inspiring teachers; Duncan Peak (Yin Yoga 50 hrs) and the team at Laughing Lotus New York (Bhakti and Chakra Training in India and Fly Inversion Training 150hrs).
A few words from Tina:
“Yoga has taught me to love myself fully, a place I never imagined I would reach before I found this practice. I am beyond blessed to be a part of the teaching community at Yoke!”
A few of my favourite things are:
What turns you on about yoga?
That it has given me the opportunity to sit in response rather then lash out in reaction.
South Melb Café:
Giddiup (try their choc banana bread!)
Movie and/or Book:
I love cookbooks or books on tree houses. ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ is also a firm favourite!
Cooking and eating food – I LOVE food!
