Emma has been practicing yoga for more than 18 years, coming from a ballet back ground, she found yoga to be a beautiful crafted movement and breath connection that helped reconnect her back to her inner self as well as accepting her physical form. Over time this practice became a moving meditation and it became a joy to keep getting on the mat and practicing such freedom.
In 2012/13 Emma completed 500YTT at Byron Yoga Centre and has since completed many hours of training, including the likes of Yoga nidra, Pranayama & meditation, 50hrs Ana Davis (prenatal) Level 1 & 2, 200hrs Yin Yoga, anatomy & physiology with Mysan Sidho and recently completing 50hrs with Elon Finn Blissology training. Dedicating herself to not only her own self practice and mindfulness of yoga/meditation but also in the way she lives allowing her to share authentic offerings to students so they can experience stepping beyond the thinking mind and move into the feeling body. Trusting all you need is within you!
Teaching at studios and drug and alcohol recovery housing, corporate and high schools Emma offers classes from beginners to advanced.
Emma classes are a combination of mindful flow and strength, creative flows but also a space to be still, mostly its an opportunity to feel the experience of energy in ones body through loving awareness, and always sprinkled with a sense of humour.
This physical form that houses our soul is such an incredible vessel to get to know, there is always a great gift to learn when we step onto 4 corners of your mat and I hope to invite you there.
